"Engineering problems are under-defined; there are many solutions, good, bad, and indifferent. The art is to arrive at a good solution." – Richard James.
About Me
Hi, I’m Emmanuel Kolankanny, a Mechanical Engineering student at Georgia Tech with a focus on Manufacturing. I enjoy building things and turning ideas into real, functional hardware. I was born in Germany and raised in the U.S., which has shaped both my perspective and curiosity for how things work.
I have hands-on experience with CNC machines, manual lathes, and extensive 3D printing, and I enjoy working in environments where precision, iteration, and problem-solving matter. These experiences have strengthened my skills in fabrication, design for manufacturing, and practical engineering.
My long-term goal is to design high-performance engines for automotive companies by combining creativity with strong technical fundamentals. This website showcases the projects I’m currently working on and serves as a place to share my designs and CAD models openly with anyone interested in engineering and design.
Projects
At home and at Georgia Tech I love to make things. When I started attending college the vast tools and resources available allowed me to build things I never dreamed I would be able to make as a teenager. I've linked a few below.
Upcoming Projects
These are projects I am currently working on while attending college.
